In this week’s episode we are going to focus on Acadia National Park. We go into what to know before going to Acadia National Park. One of the most visited National Parks in the country, Acadia has so many amazing places to see! If you are camping, staying in a hotel, or at a bed and breakfast there are a ton of places to stay while exploring the park. In this video we focus on the park loop which goes around the main part of the park. You can drive, bike, or take the shuttle to any of the locations mentioned in this video. Make sure to stop by Jordan Pond, where they have the most amazing Pop Overs, great trails, and beautiful views of this fresh water pond. Next stop at Thunder Hole, it’s an amazing view of the rocky coast, with a fantastic experience of the water pushing its way through the cave system. You have to see Cadillac mountain, with breathtaking views, and trails that let you take in the entire park! Sandy Beach is a beautiful small strip of beach at Acadia that is nestled between the rocks and protected dunes, definitely a place you do not want to miss! Lastly, make sure to take in the views at Otter Cove! The sharp drop off to the south of Acadia is something you will never forget! Let us know if you have been to Acadia and where your favorite place to go is! And remember, If you Make Maine Your Home, you don’t have to do it alone!
