After searching 5 different places for a generator yesterday I finally found one at Cabelas. If the power goes out at my house the basement will get 3 to 4 inches of water within a couple of hours. With part of our basement finished I didn’t want this to happen. I was very fortunate that we didn’t need the generator after all. The power stayed on and all is well here in South Portland.
As I watch the news, my thoughts and prayers go out to all the people that weren’t as fortunate as us. Watching the fires in Queens, NY and all the damage this storm has caused up and down the east coast is heart breaking. I have confidence that America will come together once again and help rebuild what has been damaged.
