The image above shows average home prices are at 2003 levels. I heard some news today that prices are up from last month but we need more data before we jump for joy. With the demand surge we have seen locally and nationally prices will start to increase. If you haven’t had your home appraised recently I will do a home value report to see if you are above or below the average.
With interest rates as low as they are it is much more attractive to buy today vs back in 2003. This is causing the recent demand surge in #Portland, ME and nationally.
