It is close to Portland for an easy commute, close to the Saco Biddeford area, and close to the lake region. Geographically Scarborough is large but depending on where you live you can be close to wherever your job is located. Next we talk about the AMAZING beaches, and marshes in Scarborough. You can take in beautiful views from Higgins Beach, Scarborough Beach, Ferry Beach, and Pine Point Beach. Scarborough’s fantastic coastline is a major plus of living there. Also Scarborough has a fantastic section of the Eastern Trail. The Eastern Trail is a 65 Mile trail that runs through Southern Maine. If you are looking for a great trail to get out and bike, hike, or run it’s a major perk of living in Scarborough. These are our three reasons why you should move to Scarborough!
