Home Show Vibe and Home Sales Increase for 7th Straight Month

I worked the home show last weekend with Classic Window Systems and every vendor I talked with said the same thing. "It sure seems like the economy is turning around." Home owners at the show were excited to get work done on their home.  It was definitely the first show in awhile where potential customers were ready, willing and able to talk seriously about their project and ultimately spend money.

Then I run across this article saying homes sales in Maine increased for the 7th straight month and I have to agree with the vendors at the show.  It sure does seem like the economy is turning around. I know there are still a lot of people struggling but seeing these baby steps is a good feeling.

Real Estate Choices That Help Retirement

Often we purchase real estate with a lot of emotion.  It is understandable, we all want what is best for our family.  I know when we bought our home it was very emotional.  We were starting a family and wanted it to be perfect.  The problem with making such a big purchase in this emotional state is that we may not consider the investment as much as we should.

I ran across this article and thought it was interesting.  Enjoy.
